2002 to present, Katherine's commitment to community service has included: Barb City Manor Board Member ('11) Kiwanis Club of DeKalb, DeKalb/Sycamore Exchange Club, Lincoln School PTA, Ellwood House Association, CLC Board of Directors, DeKalb Chamber of Commerce, Celebrate DeKalb, Kishwaukee Women's Network, City of DeKalb Business Development Committee, Stagecoach Players, Children's Community Theater, Just Make It Happen Participant, DeKalb School District Substitute Teacher, Girl Scouts Troop # 546, Celebration Chorale and Newman Center/Christ The Teacher Parishoner.

With extensive background in the Real Estate industry, Katherine has worked for Attorney's Gallagher,Klein, Brady, Slingerland and Rove; American Title Guaranty; DeKalb County Clerk and Recorder; COMAC, an Iron Mountain Company, holding positions as Client Relations, Administration and Major Account Exectutive. In 2005 she integrated Real Estate as a full time career opportunity that enhances her relationship with her community.
